Portfolio
A sample of the proprietary platforms and bespoke applications we've designed, built, and shipped across biotech, generative AI, fintech, compliance, legaltech, and specialized SaaS.
BioTech & MedTech AI
Stomics.io
A data portal for discovering, downloading, and sharing spatial transcriptomics datasets, modeled on repositories like NCBI GEO.
PCSA — Pan-Cancer Spatial Atlas
An AI platform that detects and classifies tertiary lymphoid structures in H&E whole-slide images across 12 cancer types, producing a prognostic score from a validated dataset of 25,000+ profiled structures.
Generative AI & Multimodal Pipelines
Coppola
An end-to-end AI documentary production pipeline: an LLM generates themes and scripts, a GPU render service produces the video, and finished episodes are published automatically.
FinTech & Quant Systems
Tohorā Karetao
An automated equities platform built on Alpaca. Strategies compete head to head on a paper account, and only the ones with a real track record behind them, rather than a lucky streak, are trusted with actual money. A custom LLM tuned for financial reasoning supplies the market read, and circuit breakers plus a manual kill switch sit under every account.
Compliance Automation
Victoria NVOS Credit Matching
Matches native vegetation offset obligations to registered credits under Victoria's Native Vegetation Offset Scheme, and auto-generates the statutory transfer paperwork.
Queensland QCOS Offset Matching
Replicates Queensland's Financial Settlement Offset Calculator to match environmental offset obligations to credits and auto-generate statutory forms.
NSW BOS Credit Matching
Matches biodiversity offset obligations to registered credits under NSW's Biodiversity Offsets Scheme and generates pre-filled statutory transfer forms.
LegalTech
ProBonoGPT
A free, conversational legal-information chat platform powered by a self-hosted, legal-domain fine-tuned LLM (Saul).
Specialized SaaS & Web
UpWoof
Our founding SaaS venture: an online platform for booking and managing pet hotels, including reservations, availability, and invoicing.
Karelda
A luxury waterfront holiday rental booking site for a 4-bedroom Culburra Beach property, with online availability, booking, and payment.
New Zealand Regulatory SaaS
TrustKeep
Record-keeping for New Zealand lay trustees. The Trusts Act 2019 handed ordinary people running a family trust a set of document-retention and disclosure duties they never asked for, and TrustKeep keeps the paperwork the Act expects.
CarbonBlock
Annual ETS emissions returns for small forestry block owners. Carbon stock is calculated against MPI's published Standard Carbon Tables and the numbers are ready well before 31 March, though the return itself is still filed on Tupu-ake.
EPBWatch
Deadline tracking for owners of earthquake-prone buildings: EPB notice dates, seismic assessments and the supporting documents, with reminders that arrive long before the remediation clock runs out.
HazCert
Location Compliance Certificate and Certified Handler expiry tracking for hazardous-substances sites. It sits alongside the WorkSafe-authorised compliance certifier rather than doing any certifying itself.
LiquorKeep
Premises licence and Duty Manager certificate dates for licensed premises, the duty manager register the Act requires a licensee to keep, and the DLC and Police notification deadlines that tend to get missed.
AgentKeep
CPD tracking for real estate licensees. Twenty hours a year, ten of them verifiable, all due 31 December. Agency principals and branch managers see where the whole team stands rather than chasing people in the last fortnight.
ImmigrationKeep
Licence and CPD tracking for Licensed Immigration Advisers, plus a timestamped due-diligence log a firm principal can rely on for the s68 employer defence under the Immigration Advisers Licensing Act 2007.
VisaKeep
Compliance for employers accredited under the AEWV scheme: accreditation expiry, job-check validity, each migrant worker's visa dates, and the settlement obligations attached to every hire. VisaKeep files nothing with INZ; VisaView remains the official work-rights check.
Open Source Automation
NecroRuby
Open source libraries rarely fall out of use because they were built badly. They fall out of use because the person maintaining them moved on. NecroRuby seeks out high-quality Ruby libraries that developers still depend on, brings them back up to modern standards, and hands the work back to the original author as a pull request. Free, unsolicited, and with no strings attached. UpWoof was built on open source, and NecroRuby is one of the ways we give something back to the community that made our work possible.
